I want to search for the new 3.7 model of Magnepan in Planar Speaker Asylum. But it turns into a weird search for Query: "3 +7" that returns nothing. Huh?? Putting it in quotation marks doesn't help. Maybe you could document this strange behavior of the period character in search help.
I finally figured it out, enter 3.7 (without quotation marks) in the Exact Match field of advanced search.
Another strange thing is the Exact Match search results don't seem to favor "3.7" in the subject line nor do they highlight matches in the subject. I get more predictable results doing a Google search for
site:www.audioasylum.com "planar speaker asylum" +3.7
If possible you should reconfigure your search behavior to match Google.

That's a tough one. Exact match should work. It's hard for me to fix that type of thing because the search engine indexes words down to 2 characters. Unfortunately the dot makes it look like a single character of 3 and 7.
