There have been so many different driver combos in that name/enclosure. Some are fine and some are ear bleeding head scratchers

That midbass has been any material while they stick to the "no components on woofer"religion

one of many versions I've heard consisted of a carbon fiber midbass and hard dome tweeter. Carbon fiber resonance was unbelievable

They have had a parade of tweeters too.

BUT the have had some combos of well damped, well behaved midbasses paired with low fs / low distortion with back chamber tweeters that REALLY pull of their xover choice

It's almost as if they initially bought 10,000 nice slanted enclosures and keep running out of different driver models

Many years ago the New Jersey audio club had a meeting featuring a multiway version where the lower mid range driver had no crossover. The top end rolled off mechanically. The bottom rolled off due to the box design placing the resonance carefully. My memory is the speaker was impressive. And the reason we invited the manufacturer was a recommendation to me from Harry Pearson who the company was visiting at the time.
