He uses the 5687 for the Blue amp, lower down on the page. It should work fine. Is this one the same as yours.

I recall now. I did actually ask him about the "Blue 45" which is very handsome, but it is a high gain unit he said, more than the Bugle circuit. I'll try to get on the phone with him today and tomorrow and ask a little more about this.
