Harrison had a bit of a rep for this, at least according to George Martin, who mentioned the similarities between Taxman and Batman and between Something.. and a similar tune done by James Taylor when he was with Apple.
"Something Bright about it" indeed.

    similar to Something In the way She Moves by Taylor. By the way, the version of Taylor's SITWSM off his last Greatest Hits compilation is a different recording than the album version and is quite possibly one of the finest recorded songs I have ever heard. I play it on my Quad 57's all the time and it is spine tingling.

Someone mentioned the similarity between James Taylor's song and Harrisn's Something. If you want to hear an out and out ripoff then listen to Taylor's song(coincidentally recorded after he signed with Apple) and Harrisn's Something. Harrison absolutely STOLE Taylor's song. The first time I heard Taylor's song was long after I had heard Something and I was shocked at the similarities. Of course Taylor recorded his song before Harrison's. The most obvious ripoff I have ever heard.
