In the mid-70s, Peter Gabriel left the band, Genesis. In 1977, guitarist Steve Hackett left Genesis. So, 45 years ago, in 1978, Genesis, now consisting of Mike Rutherford, Phil Collins, and Tony Banks, came out with ...And Then There Were Three....
I was just 6 years-old, but neighborhood kids and young adults played that album. I liked "Deep In The Motherlode."
That caused the adults to remark that, despite the buzz about the Gold Rush, the true motherlode was San Francisco, the entrance to the Bay, an economic center.
Alas, ever since the late-70s, Bay Area media just haven't played "Deep In The Motherlode." So you yourself have to find and play it.

Follow Ups:
I was late to Genesis -
Finding them in the mid '80s
almost concurrently with my discovery of Peter Gabriel
I am a bigger fan of the first iteration of Genesis, but I also enjoy the first couple of albums from 'And then there were three' ...
Thanks for reminding me-
Happy Listening
