... so they start with:
"And in conclusion ..."
I didn't want golden ears to take one sentence out of context,
for their usual vicious junkyard dog character attacks,
so I added a clarifying phrase for those golden ears,
who are sloppy readers.

Follow Ups:
Face it: you got caught.
If you would like your statements to have any credibility, I would suggest that you think about the importance of the qualifiers you don't seem to think are so unnecessary.
Pointing out that you were way off the mark with your absolutes is hardly a " vicious junkyard dog character attack." Frankly, I'm not interested in you, I'm interested in what you post.
You know perfectly well pulling one sentence out of any post
could confuse the intended meaning ... but at least my posts
in total ... are not as confused as you are:"Frankly, I'm not interested in you,
I'm interested in what you post."RG
If you were really interested, you would not
pull one sentence out of context and
then attack it like a junkyard dog.
All you ARE interested in is your
desperate attempt to find ANYTHING incorrect
in my posts, so pulling my sentence out of context
and misinterpreting it ... is the best you
lame Golden Ears can do?

Your deflection technique is transparent and pathetic. The more you try to wiggle out of this trap you set for yourself, the more damage you do.
Better let this one go, and be more careful next time.
A logical explanation of my original post
(excluding the four word explanation added later)
that angered the junkyard dog Golden Ears.
If this is 'over your head',
I can add another post explaning
the 'explanation post':
I originally wrote:
"(1) "Not once in my 40 years of auditioning components in audio stores in many states has a salesman made any attempt to measure SPLs and match A-B SPL's.
RG
I'm obviously speaking about my own experiences in audio stores
.
.
"(2) Not once in any audiophile home outside of my own has any audiophile measured SPL's and matched A-B SPLs (other than for blind tests done with an audio club)."
RG
I'm obviously still speaking about my own experiences,
but this time in homes rather than in audio stores
.
.
"People I have asked reported that A-B matching was rare in their experience other than with speakers where one was obviously louder than the other, and even then without sound meter measurements."
RG
To find out if my experiences were unusual,
I asked other audiophiles about their experiences in other homes,
where I was not present,
to find out if their in-home experiences
were similar to mine.
.
.
"I have no doubt that the tiny minority of audiophiles who publish reviews are much more likely to do A-B volume matching
... but I wonder if 100% do?"
RG
Since I have no experience with audio reviewers,
I can only wonder about the percentage of them
who bother with A-B volume matching.
.
.
.
So do I have to explain every sentence of every post to you?
That would mean after every post I'll have to add an explanation for the "slower" audiophiles who take the "short bus" to school,
... and move their lips when reading.

So what do you call that statement if not an attack? You keep burying yourself in hypocrisy. Maybe you should try to avoid the hyperbole and instead post your comments as personal opinions rather than the absolute facts you pretend them to be.
Your backtracking is still pathetic, no matter how hard you try to reconfigure your position after the fact. Unfortunately for you, you can't go back and edit the hundreds of posts of yours that make similar audacious and unsupportable claims.
