I presume you find all references to be completely scientifically thorough, valid and sound in their reasoning. Evidence.

Take your pick, mismatched levels, a lack of controls, dementia, marketing, an absence of understanding of the scientific method, audiophile tabloid covers, payoff's to reviewers from manufacturers who advertise, delusion.
Tell us what scientifically acceptable method should be used to demonstrate that audiophiles do indeed "hear it", instead of crying about the current tests being all wrong and blasphemy.

Look here . The key to a *real* scientific test is repeatability. One must first understand under what conditions the original test was conducted in order for others to confirm or deny the results. bjh pointed that out concept eloquently on the 22nd.
