You are comparing network drives to local drives when streaming music from said drives to a pretty decent USB DAC, I'm guessing? :=)

OK, I'm REALLY sure about the quality of the USB DAC you might be using!

Key word 'streaming' and not just 'storing' or downloading, just guessing again?

So the question might be, can you tell any difference when streaming from a network drive as to the network cable being used on said network?

Or if streaming from the cloud, any difference in ISP?

Speaking only for myself, I can detect no difference when streaming MOG through a (sorry, not so good) USB DAC whether the computer is connected to the internet through WiFi or Ethernet.

Do I need a better DAC or should I upgrade my Ethernet cables? ;-)
