We got a REALLY good deal as they put a lot of seats on sale due to the late change in schedule that you noted.
Sound a bit thinner up at high altitude but still, an enjoyable performance.
Who ever thought of hearing the names Haydn and Dutoit in the same sentence?
Opening bit of the London was about as 'romantic' a take as one is likely to hear. ;-)
But we do love our Dutoit in this household so it's all good!
And Berlioz? Dutoit is the MAN!
Heard him conduct SFS a few years back in about the best live Symphony Fantastic I expect to ever experience.

Tell them you sat in the "Dress Circle" (where my daughter and I sit in Carnegie Hall)and enjoy the music.
I'm not sure Davies Hall even has a Dress Circle or a Grand Tier.
Does have a 1st Tier and that's where we ended up (first row).
