I hate rock music and everything for which it stands and its corrosive social effects.
From one such as I, I offer my deepest appreciation for Keith Emerson's musical work and talent. His passing is a moment of profound sadness. Yet, I'm confident that his memory and his music shall remain in the hearts of music lovers for all time.
Farewell, master. May you find grace as you enter into infinity.

He was a neighbour of mine at one time, and I talked with him once. Very nice guy.
He said the most nervous he'd ever been wasn't at festivals with thousands of people watching, it was on a TV show where the other guest was Oscar Peterson. Keith was asked to play in front of Oscar and he said he felt acutely embarrassed since in his mind Oscar was so much better than he was.
More stories, please.
Also, do you happen to live in a mansion? I'd think the Maestro Emerson lived in one.
