The sextet for piano and winds is probably my favorite chamber music piece of his, I've performed it a few times. Really more of a concerto for piano and winds. I agree that the Entr'acte for flute and guitar is beautiful, too.
Naxos did an excellent set of his chamber music for his 100th anniversary.
I'm impressed that you play the piano reduction of the flute concerto. According to James Galway, he brought that to his audition for the Berlin Philharmonic, but the pianist told him, "This isn't a piano audition! You have to play Mozart."
Follow Ups:
That piano part of the Ibert Flute Concerto (especially the first movement) is one of the most difficult piano reductions of an orchestral score I know of. No matter how much I practice it (and it's been a lot over the years), it never gets to where I feel it's reliable. (I had heard that story with Galway too - I think he told it on the Johnny Carson show - funny!)
If you are ever in NYC with 30 minutes to spare, I'll play it with you.
I would never make a pianist play that Ibert concerto part without paying him, and my audition days are over. Perhaps something else that is not such a PITA. ;)
I'd be glad to play through some numbers with you. However, fair warning, the last time I was in NYC was in 1964! ;-)
