Delos is a bit of an unknown to me but I read some positive things regarding the recording quality. I have only 2 Delos cds and both are excellent, especially the Durufle requiem with the "Voice of Ascension"
Any others I should seek??
Follow Ups:
One of my all time favorite piano recordings..
I have plenty of Delos on LP too.
I placed my order, Debussy is also one of my idol when it comes to piano music.
Delos is, to me, the most consistently outstanding--and I mean OUTSTANDING--labels on the planet for sound quality. I can't think of anyone I would put above them, especially the recordings made by the late and incomparable John Eargle.

My favorite Delos recording is a Brahms/Schumann Soiree recreation which includes Brahms Clarinet Sonata in E Flat Major performed by Carol Rosenberger (P) and David Shifrin (C).
Carol Rosenberger also recorded a lot of romantic piano music performed very competently on a Bosendorfer in very diverse compilation records. Selections were very well chosen I think. This is really great late night music or music for other quiet times. The recordings I liked best were titled "Water Music of the Impressionists", "Nightmoods", "Reverie", "...such stuff as Dreams" and "Perchance to Dream"
I second the vote for the Hanson music. There are 5 volumes and cover pretty much all of Hanson's orchestral music. I wasn't as much impressed by their Strauss or Wagner discs, although the engineering was fine and the sound was rich and warm tonally speaking.

The Howard Hanson recordings w/ Gerard Schwarz & the Seattle Symphony are pretty nice. Nice Orchestral "bloom" to them.
In general most of the recordings engineered by John Eargle on Delos are worth seeking out. A lot of the Seattle/Schwarz recordings were reissued by Naxos. I believe there were also some John Eargle engineered recordings w/ James DePriest conducting(orchestra escapes me at the moment)on Delos, that are worth consideration.I would like to see these recordings issued as 24bit/88.2khz downloads. Given the sound available from just their "Redbook/16b/44k" incarnations I'd love to hear how much they could open up afforded more resolution to do so.
