What did he say?

Oh sorry, I forgot to report :-)
He didn't say much but his impression was that the Mini Maggies sounded better in terms of detail. But the system at AXPONA was using the BACCH so the soundstage depth and width was enhanced quite a bit. He didn't think the speakers were that special.
The interesting thing about my friend's Mini Maggie system is you can have the soundstage however you want it by rolling the desk chair a foot or so. Up close the image is from speaker to speaker in front of you with little depth. Roll back a bit and the image gets wider and deeper.

The important thing is that Edgar is selling the BACCH system which is an amazing product. We can debate whether the BACCH itself is worth what it costs. But the speaker system has to viewed separately.
If they're only selling the speaker system bundled with the BACCH, then I think that's a pretty bad idea. Yes, it will be way too expensive to justify for a desk system. People I know who have the BACCH system use it in systems that cost many tens of thousands of dollars, so it's justifyable.

It is truly amazing on my system. Best money spent other than on my speakers.
But I was thinking this product was a bit of an overreach.
It's a mere $20,000 speaker system for your computer desk.
I heard this room at AXPONA, first off the presenter running the room was not good. He kept trying to me and a friend about the technical jargon he could muster, then he kept playing different Dolby Surround Sound clips to show off the BACCH Processor. I had to straight up interrupt him ask him to play some music please. He did and my friend and I were impressed very impressed with the BACCH technology, the desk top speakers sounded fine and blended well with the subwoofers Unlike my previous Moonson M2000 desktop speakers, in which the bass was boomy.
Is it better than the Mini Mags minus the BACCH, definitely not. I would testify to this even if they were the same price. Remember Mini Mags have a True Ribbon Tweeter beside being completely dipole. FYI the True Ribbon Tweet's is also fixed with Neodymium magnets on the Mini Mag's to compensate for being much smaller in size compared to the larger models.
I run two DWM's in my desktop MiniMag system as one was not cutting the mustard for me.

If so, he is a rocket scientist and not a salesman. I find his people skills a bit lacking.
He does the installation and initial instructing as well as updates if you buy the BACCH. And lord help you if you're not Mac literate, which I'm not. We've gotten into a couple of shouting matches.
