It does seem VERY excessive to say the least. I have not kept up on Cap and Inductor prices but it seems hard to believe they can justify these prices ?? Years ago I built my own electronics from scratch and always used up-rated components, but the difference was not double !

I also built outboard crossovers for my MG12s years ago, I used the best upgraded parts available and the improvement was not huge.
