The Acorn kits looked really interesting to me as well and I've meaning to take another look but like yourself now find the site unreachable.
I have his email from a parts purchase I made last year and see if I get a reply.

Thanks for this information. I'll check after the site every once in a while going forward. I have Quad ESLs and ESL-63s all up and happily running. My guess is that these speakers may simply be out of my price range, but we'll see.

I've been enjoying reading your posts. I've had ESL-63's since purchased new mid 1980's. The new Quad "X" versions have peaked my interest and though more economically priced are still out of reach for me. So every once in awhile I peruse other options like the Acorns. I believe they were less expensive but then again some assembly required. On a positive note the Quad "X" versions may be available "previously enjoyed" in a few years. Meantime I continue to listen to my oldies but goodies.
If I hear anything about the ER Audio site I will let you know.
