I realize that everyone's knowledge and actual "experience" is vastly different. Clearly the case here.
People can only speak up to... the limits of their own knowledge (hopefully backed by experience) When they hit the wall, they become thin skinned, get defensive and (can only) argue.
You and I are done, I will not speak my mind (risk insulting you) I responded with knowledge and direct experience, even gave an image to support my [perspectives] direct experience and current work that I am doing.
Further exchange with or acknowledgement(s) of your post, is unproductive.
Happy Listening.
**I own an ARC VT200, it is not currently being used with Maggies. (I have pictures...)
My Atma-Sphere OTL amps, have never even 'seen' my 3.5rs.
Follow Ups:
high voltage overreaction imo. you just showed a pic and made a dashed off comment. But in every thread, someone has to pop their head up so the sniper can say you started it. The internet is not a good place to raise kids in.
Those some mighty stuff. I am PROUDLY running my LRS's with my old favorite Audiolab 8000a, still putting out that moderate volume level to beat the band.
I just in that kind of place these days.
I have a VK-500 for when I get the urge to feel like the captain of a nuclear submarine again. But these *are* LRS's, and I have a Martin Logan Depth handling any organ pedals. The LRS alone does a respectable kickdrum. But my volume levels are almost always modest.
Speaking of Modest, I listened to Richter's famous Sophia performance of "Pictures of an Exhibition" for the first time last night. It's a midhall live recording, and my preference is for midhall. The maggies and the audiolab held up their end of the bargain. World shattering performance.
Enjoy

Don't mind another opinion.
It'w when it gets PERONAL that I draw the line.
Enjoy your panels.
My experience is NO LESS valid than yours. Keep that in mind.
And you persist in the high mountain opinion and everyone elses is 'less'......
I'm not suggesting flea power, but DO keep it in perspective. And BETTER watts are BETTER.
I'd like to try a Pass Labs XA30.5 per panel. With it's near-6db headroom? I suspect satisfaction.
Too much is never enough
Here's a person experince for 'ya.
Owned a PSaudio GCC250 using a pair of the ASP moduels from B&O. 500 each @4ohms. NICE.
But I eventually became dissatisfied with the performance. OH! They ran cool, for sure. And would play loud when asked. But something with the HF began to 'tell'.
I replace it with a PAIR of Parasound A23 of about 200 per channel. And this combination may actually play louder than the PSAudio integrated. Certainnlly more satisfying sound.
Not that it matters?? Parasound makes some weird current claim for these and other HALO amps.
I think that's a red herring. 30 amps would FUSE the output devices. Even at some VERY low voltage, which is the only way I could see that being possible. for 1 or 2 cycles, maybe.
Too much is never enough
