What's next? All out war? All eyes on what Trump will do next? So, this is like gunslingers and it's all about who draws first.
Iran appears to have been very careful on not appearing to be the aggressor in every of it's encounters.

to actually achieve it. That they have only postured and haven't moved to retaliate yet makes me question either their capacity to do so after the Israeli air campaign, or their willingness to do so knowing the effort will bring overwhelming air strikes to counter.
There comes a point where the mid level leaders thrust into more senior roles due to Israel's targeting of leadership have to wonder if rote retaliation is worth it. They're getting their butts kicked, with nothing to show for their efforts.
Back for a bit again. Ignore me if you like.
Need I say more?(OK, I'll say more. They don't suffer from TACO syndrome.)

If Iran won't respond we will force them to respond or fabricate reason to respond to their "no response". We are for the kill not for peaceful agreement. After the theatre of negotiations and latest promise of two weeks of waiting time for them to come to their senses there won't be any meaningful talks and we will crush them if we can and demolish that country. finally.
I don't think they will fold so easily though. Yes, it will be a lot of destruction, but having less civilian infrastructure is actually an advantage, like in Vietnam and Afghanistan. You can't destroy what doesn't exist.
