. . . like Mr. Burns, and saying, "Excellent!".
We and our Israeli pals still haven't learned that when you sow the wind, you can sometimes reap the whirlwind. And geez! The Israelis ought to know this, since the source of that saying is their own Hosea 8:7.
Follow Ups:
Russia lost puppet state Syria and now another is being pummeled by Israel.
I am not a supporter of our heavy involvement with Israel. They picked a bad neighborhood to take back in 1948. It has been one conflict after another since then.

Why do you think they are in that part of real estate? You sound like you blame Israel for the unrest in the Middle East the last several decades. Almost Hitler like! Are you a Jew hater?
I guess you are OK with what happened on 911, the trillion US dollars and the lives of many Americans lost or damaged by all the conflicts fought as a result of us being aligned directly with them?

The Crusaders weren't much nicer as well.

There has been an Israel for thousands of years, not just since 1947/8.
The fundamental problem is that the Muslims can't seem to figure out how to live in peace and harmony with people who are not "like them".

We are inclusive and diverse, but dissent will not be tolerated.
But for thousands of years it was known by another name
Israel is about 1/20th the size of California.
How about you guys that love the Jewish people and want so much to see them live in peace, vote to move Israel to California. There's plenty of vacant land.
Neighbourhood problems would be ended 100%.

Stalin set aside a fairly large area within the Soviet Union as the "Jewish Autonomous Oblast" - it's on the border with China. The amazing thing is that, with all the changes which have occurred in the transformation from the Soviet Union to the Russian Federation, that area is still there - and just as welcoming today as it ever was! ;-)

What makes you think the Jews want to move from their Holy land You know, their land for 1,000's of years. Although they might want Los Angeles. We could send all of the Angelos to Israel and the people in Israel move to LA. Make LA Great Again! :)
And if the effect is higher prices, Russia might benefit. Today OTOH, WSJ asserts that world oil markets have already accommodated this development and prices could remain stable. Fingers crossed. I
Looks like WSJ might be wrong on this. While refined petroleum isn't crude, it's the only price that matters to me on a day to day basis.
