        To not running for a second term . . . Allowing new blood to show their stuff. Biden not running for term 2 may have not changed the outcome but it would have at least provided the "practice" and exposure new candidates need. I'm surprised you didn't know what "transitional" meant in this context. Transition to new faces and policies. It was all over all news sites at the time (2020) including Fox, OANN, etc.

        There were plenty of other news sources out there that covered "transitional Biden" other than FOX or OANN. He actually mentioned it in speeches and press releases. I guess stating that you don't watch FOX or OANN is cover for your lack of familiarity with the subject because it was everywhere else too.
