Just because you didn't see the footage on CNN or PMSNBC doesn't mean it didn't happen. People that didn't enter the building were jailed, unlike "We need to go into the Capitol" Ray Epstein.

  I wouldn't exactly call it devastating. After all, the vote was held later that night. Likely less damage was caused that night than pretty much every night during the summer of love
