My grandmother used to keep money under the rug in her front hall. Never knew when that paperboy would come around to collect, so need some cash handy to the door.
The former Senator from Jersey kept money in his shoes, an old family tradition according to his attorney.

Seems that shoes and shoe boxes are favorite stash places for pol's dirty money.
Bob sure wasn't the first and certainly wont be last.
Paul Powell, former Sec. of State of Illinois back in the late 1960's, was a BIG fan of shoe boxes for keeping his stash in.
Granny never had more than $20 under her rug though.
I keep my cash under my G29. They seen to get along fine.
