A reputable installer will warranty the entire system including labor, and manufacturers often compensate installers for warranty work.

    We have no warranty on any of our three cars. :)
    But no... lack of warranty never stopped me. However, on the new cars we bought their warranty was fine... I don't recall any issues there.
    Not too long ago I was also pleasantly surprised that a rather expensive part on my 10 or 11 yo car was still covered by the 100K miles emission warranty. :)

      I know of one brand that has a 20 year warranty on their amps and other gear. Unfortunately their stuff sounds like crap so who cares about the warranty! I can't listen to a warranty and those amps gave me ear bleed.

      with a solid approval from our local township and 2, just 2 years later, the maker couldn't be found because they went out of business. The pump made in China failed, the local township engineer retired, and not one question was properly answered. Screw them
      
      This was just 3 years ago and we had to purchase from a new company for over 4,000 buckaroos. If it wasn't for my wife digging into her 401k we'd be screwed. This time I didn't listen to the Township and did the research myself and hope to have no pump failure for the new American made pump for 16 more years

        Sorry that happened. Government was never our friend, we all knew that. But now it is a dangerous enemy.
