That painting has a history. Over 30 years ago I visited ruSSia and met a group of Armenian artists, living and working in Leningrad. I decided to bring their works to US, arranged it and we had an exhibit at a gallery here. There were many great works, I still have some, but most were sold - which I now regret. But at least I still have the catalog with my photographs - their quality is surprisingly good.
The two girls with a rooster is one of my favorite paintings, I think it has to do with a sacrifice, but I am not 100% sure.
