  The faster we can turn them out the more money those industries can milk from the taxpayer.

    And maybe some kind of labor camp where prisoners earn money were some percentage goes to compensate their victims.
    
    Violent, dangerous and armed offenders would not have access to these kinds of programs.
    
    Heck we could even have youth branch - where troubled youth or even kids not really right for public schools could go to get education and work training.

      And who gets stuck with that bill? Tax payers like you and me... But there is a way to slash the cost! Just offshore our convicts like we do with our corporations! Labor is way cheaper overseas! Get 1/2 off when you send our jailbirds to China! Easy solution with big savings!!
