technically, Congress controls the District and all the "needful" buildings. See Art. I, Sect. 8, Clause 17. We send representatives to do the work of the people and our tax money to provide security while they do such work. Many myths out there about what power the people have vs. the power of gov't, particularly Congress. Read Art. I., Sect. 8 for Congress's numerous powers.

Given that a coup was attempted the incredibly low level of violence used by the DC police and the Feds is remarkable. At least many of the traitors are being prosecuted and locked up. Hopefully the big fish soon.

It's how they bring about changes in state laws that will allow a better chance of success next time around. Consider it an acceleration of further distancing the votes of the people from election results and giving state legislatures a bigger voice. It is an attempt by the minority to rule a majority.
People will be in State positions next time around that will "find 11,000 votes" or decertify election results at the request of their candidate as was attempted this time. Consider it the road map out of Democracy.

Unfortunately this is true.
And with a Minority Rule, there is more oppression, violence against dissent and other things you don't need when it's majority rule.
Expect all kinds of draconian rules to follow if successful to suppress dissent. Since when you aren't there because people want you there, the people become frightening.

There were half a dozen cops in full riot gear with scary black rifles right behind her. She was actually conversing with them. They were way better armed than the murderer WITH NO BARRIER INBETWEEN and they didn't see her as a threat, else she would have already been Swiss cheese.
