I saw that when doing my research but the first one I bought at an estate sale, and it came with the N-1600c so that's why I am trying to match it. I am assuming that the speakers will sound better with the correct crossover, so I guess it's back to the drawing board.

Yes, they both are original. I think I will try to have someone build them like the other poster suggested. It won't hurt to use the ones I have meanwhile, will it?

I don't know what the proper crossover frequency is for that model, but, as with all compression drivers, crossing them too low and then playing them loud can damage the driver's diaphragm assembly because of either excessive excursion or overheating the voice coil, and then you'll really be in a pickle.
