I agree with the others, listen to the two amps you have first. I have owned the Plinius SA-102 and it is one of the finest SS amplifiers I have ever heard. I think it will be head and shoulders better than the Dared, and I say that being a dyed in the wool tube guy.For my $$ I would look at better tube amplification with the CWs. But the Plinius will give you much enjoyment until that time.
I have not heard the CWIII, but have owned the CWII. I think you are in for a real treat with those speakers.

I agree on the Plinius, some of the best sound, with Verity, Magneplaners, Jbl,my Mirages, and soon to be Cornwall 3s.
I'm seeking out other products both tube and ss, you know the disease of wanting more and change. Hoping other current owners to share there experience. Thanks for your correspondence.

Well my experience after trying several tube amps with horns is that my Decware Torii II sounds better than anything else I have tried. Seems like the perfect amount of power and tonal balance for my khorns. I would highly suggest looking at some of Steve's offerings.

I almost moved on the Torii myself to run the La Bohemes, but I ran across the Antares at a very good price and the rest is history. Very happy with the combination. Since then, every upgrade is immediately audible, esp. the Teo GC ICs.
The main thing remaining is going to be speaker cables. Currently running double runs of Zu Mission MKII, which I got dirt cheap and are pretty good, but I think there's room for improvement.
I got my KHorns about 15 years ago.... Had them for about 1 year and I replaced the Midrange Horn with an Altec Multicell horn for the next 10 years. And then I went to the 115db Oris Horn for both the Mid Range and Tweeter. -- Still the Original Khorn Bass Bin. -- Bi-amped - 45 SET on top - Hypex Class 'D' amps on the Bass Bins.

I'll keep this in mind Kind Sir as some time back I remember reading a lot of positive comments on these forums about this product line.
Best, Timothy...
