I don’t know if it’s just me, but this thinking appears backwards to me. Why the heck would you buy anything without taking into consideration how you plan to integrate them into your system?Larry the Cable Guy --- “Hey Jeff, I just spent a bunch of money ordering this stuff. What should I do with it now?”

You're thinking that my system has a plan?!? If there is one, it's constant but slow mutation...
I've been needing bass for years, getting it from 6.5" or 8" cones inside of various old speakers. The FW305's were on sale and I've got time for a project so...
Thanks for the suggestions, All... I think I'll do a rough&dirty BR box and something else, maybe a Karlson, to see what I like. Cheers!

OK, then 2.5 ft^3 tuned with a 4" dia. x 7.375" long vent looks good once the driver/vent volumes are subtracted out based on published specs and assuming your SS amp doesn't have OPTs. Due to the small size/low Qts driver, don't expect much real bass from it unless backed up into the corners.
For EBS, 6 ft^3 tuned with a 4" dia. x 5.5" long will tune it to ~25 Hz. This one will get down lower with a 'tighter' overall presentation, but will sound a bit 'thin' in the mid-bass compared the smaller cab if not corner loaded.
Of course both can be EQ'd somewhat, though the larger cab will be able to handle more.
