Do tell!
What are you using for DXD?
Seems iTunes with the Bit Perfect plugin can play DXD (PCM) at 352.8kHz / 24bit however Bit Perfect will not play FLAC in iTunes.
And I'm not sure how to convert 24/352.8 to something iTunes with Bit Perfect can play.
I suspect VLC will do it but that's not my favorite music player.
Follow Ups:
iTunes is not involved in the 24/352.8 DXD playback. This SW also allows for playback of quad DSD. No downsampling necessary.
In contrast to my post a couple of weeks ago on Digital Drive (where I was having all sorts of problems initially - since worked out, except for a slight hum I'm still working on), I am now a happy camper with my purchase! ;-)
As oldmkvi says below, HQ Player will also do downsampling if you need it.
Is one of your MC Amps Tube?
Could be the source of hum.
I'm glad you are liking your new setup!
I still haven't had a phone conversation with George at exaSound support yet - only a couple of e-mail exchanges. He seems very confident he can steer me to fix whatever hum problem I have, and I haven't even tried all his e-mail suggestions yet.
And, yes, one my amps (used for the center and the two rear channels) is a hybrid design.
The E22 had a Wall-Wart type DC Power Supply.
If yours uses the same thing, maybe it's faulty.
Mine was only 2-prong AIR, so Ground -Loop isn't likely.
Not that I actually know...
