Does anyone here like Vocal trance/eurodance music besides me?
Follow Ups:
The GF and I listen to trance/techno/dance/rave stuff almost all the time when we are going about our daily domestication together.
Stations like Shoutcast (got it on right now) have helped open up this genre tremendously.
Some of it sounds awfully good on the big system too...

Can you mention some specific acts/groups that you're referring to?
Cheers,
Did you really think that you could put it in a safe behind a painting, lock it up and leave?.... Walk away now, and you're going to start a war

Ian Van dahl

DJ sammy
Tiesto
4 strings

With the exception of Tiesto, what I recognize in your list is trance-pop. 4 Strings is about as far in that direction as I can go, and mostly only their older stuff with van Hemert singing at that. DJ Sammy just makes my brain hurt.

Ashley Tomberlin, Carey Skipper, and Justine Suissa have all contributed gorgeous vocals to some excellent songs.

I meant trance pop I guess... I notice that our local stores have limited selection on this type of musc though.
While "Eurodance" is sometimes used to describe trance pop, I think the term was probably just invented for marketing purposes. There's a lot of things that seem to be done for that reason in the EDM world.
And yeah, trance in general isn't very popular in the U.S., so you'll probably have to special order or mail order anything you want. There's also a lot of stuff released in Europe that's never released here.
How much of Tiesto's work have you heard? I ask because his style is significantly different compared to the rest of your list. Most of my own trance collection is in the vein of what he does.
