Congratulations. i think if you like them out of the box you will love them. I noticed hardly any change with burn in and let them run overnight on my Pioneer SX650 but planar headphones as I have experience with the HE6 and LCD2 change very little if any. Enjoy them and glad you liked my review and thank you for the comment it was much appreciated.

What is your impression of the HE500 vs. the LCD2?
I have not the LCD2 is about six months but will be hearing it at my mini meet in January so early Feb I will add a comparison to the LVD2. But I prefer the build quality and bigger sound stage and air of the HE500 over the LCD2 I had owned for 8 months so it will be interesting when i hear them again to see if i still concur. The LCD2 IMO is not a good large scal classical music headphone.
I have listened to the LCD-2 briefly, but I cannot spend the extra money. If the HE500 had not come down to $699 I would not have it either, though I am sure they are both worth the higher prices.
