I also have a 1964 Fisher Allegro, push pull ELL80 amp and find this works even better with the Shure phones than the SEX amp, better combo. It also has the outstanding Fisher triode phono amp so I am in vinyl heaven with this inexpensive, yet extravagantly musical combo.
