. . . are available in 4K, and most of these are, consequently, noticeably better looking. Especially the Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School Band!

That video of the marching band hs higher resolution here than it does for you. On my new ipd with dual stereo speakers. For me it looks like 6K. I went to Yoyogi School in Tokyo like a really long time ago. Attached find screen shot of MLB game last Saturday.

BTW, I understand that most companies gave up selling 8K sets within the last year or so. The public must think that 8K is beyond the point of diminishing returns! Maybe 6K is the "sweet spot" (although I've never seen an actual 6K set!). ;-)

You saw no improvement to the video quality I know what you're thinking, I never pay much attention to it.

Been watching the Stanley Cup Playoffs, eh? Picture seems slightly better.
MLB.TV is definitely better.

I've noticed the picture looks sharper this year. Wasn't sure what the actual reason was, but it definitely looks good.

One more quick question, when did you notice the better picture? Recently?
Yes, it was recent. Can't pinpoint exactly when, but sometime last week. Wasn't sure if the internet provider or the MLB made improvements.

The timing for most of what I did. was approx. during the two-week period prior to the weekend of May 3, five days ago. I actually began this experiment perhaps a month ago. I took screen shots of MLB game a week before the 3rd May.
