I had a pair of Audioengine powered speakers that were not great. I've had better SQ results with a couple mass market brands when it comes to powered speakers. My Bose is very nice as is the Marshall Stanmore. In addition to BT the Marshall Stanmore III has stereo RCA and mini AUX jack inputs. (The original Stanmore that I have has Optical input as well).
