If you buy used, you can do much better. For example, you can have Dynaudio audience 40 speakers in 9/10 condition for as little as $400.

There are hundreds of different ways to go used...... I posted this primarily as a system that can be replicated quite quickly and easily, from either Amazon or eBay, with relatively little effort.
These are probably great speakers, and likely better speakers, but they're $300 more...... There are a lot of other $400 speakers to choose from that are better as well.... But the system wouldn't be so "cheep!" [-; (People who've listened to this system have been impressed, by the way.)
A lot of these changes to the "cheep" system over the years has to do with products no longer available, and newer products that are often cheaper and better. And will continue to evolve. (This was inspired by such a system I encountered at the 2019 THE Show.)

      If you buy used Dynaudio speakers, you can enjoy them for life. In case you want to sell them, you will not lose much money.
      Your recommended system, after two years (maybe one), the owner wants to upgrade. How much of that $700 he/she can get back?
