My passion is music. My hobby is High end stereo equipment. You can do both
I am 74 years young and have been participating in this hobby for65 years. Was also a professional recording engineer for 25 years

Had a friend/room mate years ago that was an engineer at Russian Hill Studios in SF.

He had some good stories, but only a so so system at home.

        Edit: Oh, and, he's got a used Parasound JC 3+. The store owner darn near came unglued when he realized he was talking with John Curl. That was fun.
