10X better doesn't cost 10X as much. Whether it's Hotels,cars, wine or audio gear (products) 2X better can easily cost 10X more. Not complaining I just see the number closer to this than an equal return.

Well sometimes it costs 10x (to use the factor given) to get a 2x improvement. You're not just adding more of the same parts piled higher and deeper.
No I understand. Better parts cost a lot more for many reasons including they are no made in bulk. Take caps for instance. I'm not complaining about price, I've learned over the years that most better gear is worth it.
