Good one Jeffery Lee. Funny you should mention JM Labs, there aren't a pair of G.U.'s but there is a pair of Micron's as well as half dozen pairs of low to mid fi speakers also a bunch of drivers and parts from various DIY projects, the remnants of my first home made tube amp. Also have 4 or 5 Levinson pieces , some left over from when I collected the stuff, some from old systems, plus an A.R.C. preamp, a pair of Jadis power amp's, a Bryston 4B that appears to have been to a few parties, it was actually used by a friends Rock band a bunch of years ago, and a gaggle of unmarked boxes that I'm afraid to open. My audio friends are planning a treasure hunt down there at a future meeting. Surprising how much gear you accumulate after 40 years of playing around with this stuff.
The few bits of junk I have pales in comparison to what a now deceased friend had. When his widow asked a few of us to organize and sell his collection ( he was a true collector ) we found well over a hundred pieces of what was once hi end gear, mostly without boxes.

Lots of fish tales going on here...

Don't have any fish tales to tell, just a bunch of aging gear cluttering up my basement. Your welcome anytime to come for a visit.
I remember most of what I bought excpt for all the tubes I bought when I was in a manic collection mode. Even there I know I don't have any Tele Ccas etc. I did go on a tare trying to find a linear tracking table that would sound as good as a friend's did but that never happened. The collection was a pile of half broken Japanese junk when Japan actually made junk, not the Japan of today. I have few Sherwood project integrateds I don't need them because I was given a carefully restored and rebuilt one.
What bothers me most is being unable to remember where I left my 68 Miura S which I was hiding from my parents In a smoky haze.
Honestly I must get rid of my junky and even really very good stuff now due to divorce. Also I don't think I will ever use all the tubes I have collected, I should sell some of those too.
Steve
