I turn my Mac server off each night. Everything else is always on. It takes about an hour for the sound to get up to the magic that I expect. What really kills my sound is moving any cables which sets me back for several hours. I have even found that the Synergistic Research MIG feet take time to settle. I have demonstrated this to many doubtful friends who now agree.
