There have been some touching threads here in recent months, and it got me to thinking about the most memorable of all the threads I've read here. Two come to mind:
1) The wife of a inmate who had passed away came on here to tell us how much the asylum had meant to her husband when he was alive.
2) There was a wild thread once that, I believe, became the longest thread in AA history. Unfortunately, I cannot remember what it was about--but Ms. Piggy, Cetaele, and a few other inmates were involved. It ended up in whiner's road, but was an impressive undertaking.
Any others come to mind?

Numero uno may have been ruffscruff's wife.
He died in June of 2006. A search - maybe in Tubes (a favorite haunt of his...) may produce the thread.

Well, I for one wouldn't worry if I met "Mellson" in a dark alley - it couldn't be very dark for the illumination.
