High end and home theater have nothing to do with each other? Come on.
I have a home theater with a Sherbourn power amplifier (300 wpc into 4 ohms), four Maggie 1.6 speakers on custom stands, an Adcom pre-amp, an NAD pre/pro, an AR TT, a linn tone arm, a Clearaudio cartridge. a Thorens TT and arm for 78's, a high end tuner, a Panny progressive scan DVD player (which can sample CDs at twice Red Book), a Pioneer CLD-95 LD player, and a high end tape deck, all in a dedicated HT and all heavily tweaked. I enjoy lps, 78's, tapes, CDs, DVDs, LDs, FM, and cable TV, all with superb high end sound. I gave up being a two channel snob in 1990 after being an audiophile then for 35 years.
