I have a Rotel cd player that has a CDM4/19 transport and a TDA1541A dac that still plays 28 years later. I know inflation but lets see that Denafrips 28 years from now. I also have a few donor CDM4 transports just in case.

Are you thinking on getting one. I also have two CDM4/19 which I can use...just don't have faith in Chinese made products with exception of Audio Space amplifiers which are very reliable and made in Hong Kong.

  I don't buy a lot of new equipment but my Rotel is still using same transport for 28 years. I bought the extra transports when the player was new not knowing if they would last. My player has the same transport as that Denefrips and it doesn't make sense that they're not holding up.
