hopeless. You want a CD player, and they tell you you make no sense.

Computer audio of impeccable quality is only for some who want to spend loads of time doing it.

Try to listen to all three; the Audiolab get high praises but it all depends on your system.

At least you consistently misunderstand my posts.

The op is not against computers and I am pretty sure he forgot that most computers can play disks. THAT is what didnt make sense. Not a desire for a cdp. But he wasnt exactly saying that he only wanted a cdp was he???

Funny thing I am not against computer audio but I already own about 1000 cds and I have friends who I like to go out and have lunch and shop for cds and vinyl ! oh my I know its so 90z but that is what we do . So if I own a 1000 cds and you own cds that are different than mine why wouldn't I keep mine and put yours on my HD? then I would have both . So I want a cd player in my system even if I have to get off my sorry ass every now and then .

    It was 7 and that is a totally different computer and a different project, not cmp2 based and consuming a ton more time than cmp2 ever did.
    
    Hopeless? Given that audio will be computer drive almost entirely in just a matter of years and that the op was open to computer audio, pointing out that a computer IS a cdp is not hopeless.
