Experiences With AVM Audio? Specifically Essential Monoblocks

Personal auditioning is a must. I talked to a guy about 10 years ago who dropped AVM dealership for some reason - poor sound or unreliability. I listened to a AVM CDP at that time but did not buy it - it was too bright for my taste.

  Unfortunately not a possibility when its on the other side of the country. The practical limitations of buying used audio over the net.

    What kind of sound would you like to get? If you prefer lush and warm sound, look elsewhere. My reading of reviews tells me that AVM amps have a very powerful and neutral sound. Users' reviews may help (in a way).

      I heard some AVM amps at a few audio shows. Once I think I heard them paired with PMC speakers. I was impressed; I thought they were very competent. Sorry I can't provide any more information.
