The Eico is a standard pre amp of its time. It can be used with any other amp of its time I would imagine. It is not only to be used with another Eico there is no special plug to keep it in that line of pre amp simply an older model mono pre amp. I was just wondering if anyone had used one in there system there thoughts on its sound like that. Has the sliker on the bottom phono tuner tape TV like that. Correct me if I am wrong.

So you would need an HF-14, or some similar mono amp? Right?
That old preamp with its many 50 year old capacitors in the signal chain is going to sound like you draped heavy quilts over your speakers. Even rebuilt with new caps and resistors, it will sound vague, opaque, and drab. If you really need a preamp you could rebuild the unit to only incorporate the voltage amp and the cathode follower (eliminate all the switches and signal shaping components) after rebuilding the power supply to dramatically reduce the internal impedance.

It is hard to argue with that.
Thank you, you made my day!
