It seems there are not too many Mac lovers on this forum. Or perhaps there are too many that have tried them and uncovered audios dirty little sales trick - money and looks don't equal good audio.

All the Mac lovers our on Audio Aficionardo. There are usually about 100 there but I've seen it as many as 250 at one time.

  You either love them or hate em. Kind of like WHY was Jerry Lewis so funny to some people and not to others.
  
  You seem to really want a Mac. Buy a used one off of Audiogon and see if you like them. They have a decent resale so you will not loose too much. If you buy it new and don't like care for it you're out some big bucks!
  
  Also compare it across some other brands. And by compare I mean LISTEN to them, not read about them.
