After that, it's really just a few fanatics praising their favorite component. Mostly, look for Georgelofi's posts as he's giving all the technical details of how it works.
Below is an even older and much longer thread on DIY Audio which George started 5 years ago. He essentially showed everyone how to make their own Lightspeed. There are 428 pages of posts to it and it is still going strong.
Personally, the price of George's units are so low, I would just buy one new. I think they are in the $450 range. The guy created something incredible and deserves to earn some income from it.
My friend ended up buying his from Uriah Dailey because he was very enthusiastic about the LDR source selector. He had a vinyl only system and was trying to add a digital source without degrading a top notch vinyl front end. It seems to be working great. The crazy part was comparing a digital source (computer and iPod) directly into the amp and then through the LDR preamp. Way better through the LDR. Thanks for all the info.
