Pictures of many inmates rig’s regularly show that they place their TT, especially fully manual ones, standing between their speaker array, sometimes in line or back on the front wall. While that often looks nice, it suggests total inconvenience. I have found over the years that the best arrangement is to have the TT next to and at the same level of the sweet listening spot, a single chair at that. My preamp is also similarly located. This provides me serious listening ability. What works for you?
