ManxI was thinking along those lines myself, using a piece of 3/4" MDF cut to size then drill it to accept the pipes something like Joven suggested, then build a frame, say 2" high, around that to pour cement (something smooth and easily worked like concrete patch or a floor leveling compound). Once the pipes were aligned and glued in the MDF, I would pour cement in the frame.
Are you using schedule 40 or schedule 80 pipe? I was planning to use schedule 80 thinking the heavier wall might be less resonant. For a 2" nominal od pipe (2.375 actual od) the id is 1.9". Any thoughts? Did you get the ABS from a plumbing supply place?
