for those of you using a conventional CRC DC filament supply on a DHT with a 1/2 ohm resistor.... try replacing that 1/2 ohm of crappy conductor with the appropriate length of wire...

i was absolutely amazed how much better it sounded, and this was the initial thing that spurned my hate for anything resistive... next i added a core to that length of wire, and got the resistance down to .1 ohm and was able to cut the capacitance by a factor of 10 as an added bonus.
